I did a count of the cars that I have owned since I have been able to drive (I am 68 now). I have owned 42 automobiles ranging from VW's to Corvette, to 61' 409 Chevy, to 65' Tri=power GTO. There are quite a few that I wish that I had now. Today I own a 03' PT Cruiser GT Turbo, an 05' Ford Ranger 4x4, and a restored 69' VW Beetle.

Mopar Slant Six

In the early sixties Mopar offered a high performance package for their 170 and 225ci slant six engines. Called the Hyperpak it included a carter AFB four barrel carb, longer runner intake manifold, higher compression pistons, spec cam and tube headers. The 170ci was conservatively rated at 148 hp and the 225ci at 195hp

A car nut and packrat

I have always been a car nut. I am able to retain facts about cars, engines, performance stats, etc. This is probably because of my collecting of car and motorcycle mags from the early sixties until now.
